Eight springs ago the Mets and Cubs opened the season, not in Cincinnati. Guess where? Tokyo. That Tokyo, the guys who gave us Pearl Harbor. Some people don’t like you to bring that up, trade with Japan is so hot. But I’ve got a long memory. I saw what a few bombs can do to our property.

You're talking about the MK team after all. When have they ever pushed the quality of the characters? It IS NEVER going to happen. So, do you want 20 mediocre characters, or 40 mediocre characters? I'd go with the 40.

An anonymous user added information to Wikipedia's entry on Sacha Baron Cohen three days before the now-referenced external article was written. The Independent wrote the referenced article apparently using Wikipedia as the source establishing his 'Goldman Sachs' career. Now Wikipedia uses as a references the article that came after the initial modification to Wikipedia itself.

Welcome to the Misinformation Age!  (The Wikipedia resourcing has since been removed.)

Soul Calibur IV is out on July 29th! It is the latest in one of my favorite game series of all time, and definitely the one I have spent the most time upon... YAAAARRHHHHH!

Why the change?

Mediocre Minds needed to change for a number of reasons. Most than anything, I just don't have time to maintain and code elaborate layouts. I wanted something quick and easy. Similarly, I don't have time to write articles like I used to. So it all came down to ease-of-use. Unfortunately, the previous site engine - Drupal - was just not easy to work with.

Having used Tumblr a little, I was quick to jump on Chyrp and take it for a test run. Since it seemed to be running okay, I went ahead and waited for a MySQL update on my server and here I am, running it a day later.

Along with the backend changes, I will also be changing the kinds of things I post. I might still write longish articles, but expect more links, quotes, and code talk. Mediocre Minds may be more personal than it used to be... more of a blog, really.

I have to see if I can get Binkley his access sometime too.

Codename: Carmen Sandiego

What the hell just happened here?

I'll tell you what. After three iterations of Mediocre Minds, it was time for the fourth. So here it is... Codename: Carmen Sandiego.

Now, let me warn you that I'm just trying out Chyrp, an interesting tumblog engine. I have no idea how much I'll like it... a lot of it depends on reliability and ease of use, the two most important things for me right now.

Expect shorter updates, but they will probably be more frequent as well.
