Wave is meant to combine email, document and media sharing, instant messaging, and social networking.
The basic concept is that you start a Wave, invite other users, and anyone who joins can view other users' activity in real-time. This includes text messages (remember ICQ had this a loooong time ago?) and media sharing.

Google is clearly hoping that this takes off with developers because there are many cool things that can be done using Wave. It's certainly going to be a very interesting tool - let's hope they have a beta of some sort!

Recently, the team announced that Poison Ivy will be in the game. Shacknews is carrying a trailer and some art which should probably double sales among the teenage male demographic:

A very insightful look into how to maximize your team's potential and overcome lack of skill, though it gets somewhat repetitive with its Lawrence of Arabia analogies.
