Spotlight on Roman Dirge

I'll be honest, I only caught the very last 5-10 minutes of this panel, but it was still worth going to. Roman is the creator of the popular goth/humor comic book series Lenore (published by Slave Labor Graphics), and I only know him through his work on Invader Zim and that he's a friend of Jhonen Vasquez. As he's the creator of a popular goth comic, I shouldn't have to tell you that I was the only one in the room with a white shirt and shorts, if you catch my drift. Anywhere, here are two nuggets I got from five minute's worth.

Roman designs about half of the tattoos on his body.
One girl asked Roman if he planned to write and illustrate a children's book. Roman replied, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Actually, I'm working on one right now. A kid learns how to count to ten...but then something goes horribly wrong...and he never actually makes it to ten."
